I think these photos taken this past Saturday May 8th, 2010 speak for themselves!!! I was sure it was coming because there had been snow out west last week...
Sitting out side enjoying the sun wasn't an option!
My poor tree...the snow was very wet & heavy!
Today is sunny..still cold but most of the snow melted yesterday!!! :0)
Cheers
what a weather...
ReplyDeleteGood that you took some photos for the record. As I forgot, I might link to your photos .
Did you enjoy your special day??
I will not see you tonight. Michel will go in alone. Take care.
Great photos Heather.
ReplyDeleteI'm replying here to your post from Sunday...that Mother's Day prose was just wonderful. I laughed when I read "don't want to know what the vacuum cleaner just sucked up"...too true!
Some of the other lines (well, I can't read it when I'm typing here)...but about "Real mothers don't ask 'why me'?"...are perfect.
Thanks for sharing.....

Crazy weather. We had a light dusting. Nothing like you did. YUK!!
ReplyDeleteWow! is that normal for this time of year? We are just starting to get cooler weather now, beautiful mild sunny days but the nights are are blanky weather. Autumn in Australia is my favourite time of year, after the blazing heat of summer it's such a relief. Great jewelry making weather.
ReplyDeleteBrrr! and i thought it was cold here! I hope you stayed toasty inside and had a lovely mothers day.
ReplyDeleteglad to see you Heather! wow the snow is crazy , but soon to melt I bet. thanks for stopping by xx
ReplyDeleteAaargh! I though spring was here! Hopefully all that white stuff will melt away in short order.
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!....OMG...we picked up my plantings for this years garden on Sunday (Mother's Day gift), and I've had everything inside in a makeshift greenhouse since then...tomorrow the HIGH is only going up to 50!!! Great pics...but geez!!!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, the weather has been so weird everywhere - I hope it warms up for you soon!
ReplyDeleteHave a beachy day!

OMG!!! I can't believe it! Here in Rochester, I was SURE we'd get hit again. But so far, we've been lucky...AND we've had a very early start to a warm spring. It's a little chillier and rainy the last few days but no snow. whew!
ReplyDeleteHope it goes away soon for you!

WHOA!!! I just bought cooler pads today. What a difference a few degrees in latitude can make, huh? I was made for your latitude, not mine! I HATE the heat! The pics are GORGEOUS but probably not exactly what you were looking for! lol
