The handcraft jewelry featured in your blog is quite beautiful. How much time does it take for you to make one piece?

  3. Thank you all for your lovely comments...

asithi...the time it takes varies greatly depending on how the piece is made...for me what takes the most time it the acutal design...I've taken pieces apart many times before I come up with something that pleases me...we are talkin hours, sometimes I'll even leave a piece overnight and go back the next day... :0) H

  4. Do you produce more than one piece for each design then to make it worth your investment in time for each design?

  5. asithi...most of what I do is one of a kind, by choice...if I have enough stones/beads I will use them in something else differently...there are only a few things that I make that I will make exactly the same again, sometimes earrings...or for instance if I was making pieces for a bridal party...of course then there would be numerous pieces the same...I also make a necklace with a sterling silver bead, which has a Lima bean shape,

...these are not one of a kind...for obvious reasons...

I may do something similiar or with different colors, always with enough difference...when someone purchases a "handcrafted custom designed" piece they don't want to see the same piece on someone else and I fully understand!!!
I would never repeat a commisioned "custom designed piece"!
If you have any further questions please don't hestitate to ask...:o) H

  9. Turqoise is my favorite for jewelry. I remember when turqoise/coral were popular, for guys, back in the 80's. I'd love to see that come back.
